Meet the Cinema/TV Production interns who helped document, produce, and preserve the Storytelling & Film Senior Experience. Working as members of the production team, these students applied classroom knowledge in a creative environment while developing professional skills in filmmaking, collaboration, and visual storytelling. Their work not only supported the completion of this project but also created lasting resources that will inspire future students.

Please meet Destiny Lewter!

Destiny is currently a 3rd year Cinema Production major at Old Dominion University. She is an aspiring filmmaker passionate about storytelling, with hands on experience across student film projects and on set.

Destiny helped capture B-roll footage, student and other filmmaker interviews, and much of the behind the scenes footage to make this project happen!

Associate Producer Intern

Please meet Ian Turner!

Ian Turner is a local actor and filmmaker who is a long-term resident of Hampton Roads. He graduated from James Madison University in 2021 with a bachelors in History, and is currently pursuing a second undergraduate degree in Cinema Production and Theatre at ODU. He has been in several past ODU rep productions, and has competed several times in various regional 48hr film project competitions as Team Leader, Director, Writer, and Producer.

Ian helped coordinate production schedules, support communication across the cast and crew, manage logistics, and keep the Storytelling & Film project moving.
